History of Halloween
Halloween is coming(October 31th)soon,Everybody celebrates here.I'd like to introduce the history of halloween.
This festival first celebrated by Celtic people,they called it Samhain.It means a festival to celbreate the end of the summer.It was also the beginning of winter.Not quite a harvest festival,but a worshipping and farewell for a while to the sun god Lugh,Because at that time,people believed that the sun god died on the last day of October,and it was the links between life and death,which means connections of these two worlds of living and dead that they celebrated.It also known as one of the fire festivals,because from now on people started to pass into the long dark nights.
