A bit thoughts of Fanny Hill, Coronation Street and etc
Recently as I did watch drama of Fanny Hill, another named is Memorirs of a Woman of Pleasure. Which is a novel written by John Cleland. It was written in 1748 while Cleland was in debtor's prison in London, It is considered the first modern "erotic novel" in English, and has become a byword for the batter of censorship of erotica. In my opinion. It's have simliar role as novel of Jin Pin Mei in China.It mentioned about Kind's subjects corruption, homesexuality, etc kind of stuff. This book was officially withdrawn but it became popular, pirate editions appeared.
Coronation Street is a soap opera broadcasted by BBC,which is the longest-running television in United Kindom.This programme is considerently as the hightest-rated programme on BBC Tele. However, I prefer to watch EastEnder rather than Coronation Street.Both of them focused on incorporates the residents of neighbouring streets, and both of them examines families and individuals within the community who are of different ages, classes, and social structures.The only different of both, for me is that Coronation Street mentioned about homosexulity. I remembered once a screen mentioned about an old lady'son asked her about his father.... why he did never see his father before. Her mother finally encouraged herself enough to tell him that she herself was his father as well as. --due to she did sex surgery in hospital for from men to women many ages ago.
